Ludwig vive sospeso tra la vita e la morte grazie a un sortilegio che gli permette di ritornare nel mondo una volta al mese nel periodo di novilunio, fino a quando non avrà riempito il vuoto di un’infima esistenza.
Da Londra a Parigi, da Dublino alle meravigliose terre di Scozia, da luoghi intrisi di mistero come Stonhenge e Newgrange fino al castello di Glamis, un meraviglioso maniero teatro di tante oscure vicende, la storia del giovane duca d’Orléans s’intreccerà con miti e leggende coinvolgendo protagonisti di grandi romanzi della letteratura europea e di straordinarie favole del passato.
Sarà un antico monile a suggellare l’epilogo favorendo il ricongiungimento di passato e presente sotto un unico meraviglioso cielo.

In the Pacific islands, it is believed that the dead return as ghosts when they cannot reach the spirit world. It could happen because along the way they were attacked by demons or other souls. Sometimes their spirits appear in human form, taking animal form, or even in sparks. But in any case, they are sad and they can become bad or evil if they obtain special powers. That wasn’t the case for Ludwig, his spirit was neither bad nor evil, but came back every Monday of the month with the new moon. Ludwig was suspended between life and after death, not because he had been attacked by someone during his transition, but for the simple reason that the death had surprised him too soon and fate had something else for him. This story is inspired by the overwhelming sad story of a famous historical figure actually buried in Westminster Abbey ...
